- 1 ½ lbs ground beef (80/20)
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
For the Glaze:
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a loaf pan with foil.
- In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, eggs, onions, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Shape into a 9×5-inch loaf and place it into the pan.
- Mix ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar for the glaze. Spread half on the loaf.
- Bake for 40 minutes, then apply the remaining glaze. Bake for 15 more minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
