Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

For the Glaze:

  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar

Instructions

  1.  Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a loaf pan with foil.
  2. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, eggs, onions, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  3.  Shape into a 9×5-inch loaf and place it into the pan.
  4.  Mix ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar for the glaze. Spread half on the loaf.
  5.  Bake for 40 minutes, then apply the remaining glaze. Bake for 15 more minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  6.  Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
