  • Butter: 2 tablespoons, melted

Instructions

  1. Sift dry ingredients: In a large bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
  2. Mix wet ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, melted butter, and egg until combined.
  3. Combine wet and dry: Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients, pour in the wet mixture, and gently stir until just combined.
