A delightful, garlicky butter sauce paired with succulent shrimp, perfect for serving over pasta or with crusty bread. A simple yet indulgent dish that never disappoints!

Ingredients

Scale

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
3 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup dry white wine (or chicken broth)
Juice of 1 lemon
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped
Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Season shrimp with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet. Cook for 2 minutes per side, until pink and opaque.
  4. Remove shrimp from the pan and set aside.
  5. Deglaze the pan with white wine and lemon juice, scraping up any browned bits. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Stir in the remaining butter until smooth and glossy.
  7. Return shrimp to the skillet, toss to coat, and heat through.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
